St. Andrew’s School City Run 2025: A Celebration of Fitness and School Spirit

On Saturday, 10th May 2025, the St. Andrew’s School City Run brought together over 900 students from the Upper Primary and Secondary sections for an energetic morning of fitness and fun. Held at the beautiful Taman Mahkota Jubilee Emas, the event showcased not only athleticism but also the strong sense of community and house spirit that defines the school.

The day began with a warm-up at the school grounds before students proceeded to the venue. The run was officially flagged off at 8:00 AM by Mrs. Gladys Yee, a respected member of the Board of Governors. Runners followed a scenic route along the Eco Corridor and successfully completed the event by 9:30 AM.

The excitement continued back at school during the Prize Presentation Ceremony at DOKK Hall, where Mrs. Yee once again graced the occasion as Guest of Honour. A total of 60 students were awarded medals for their outstanding performance and sportsmanship.

Final House Results:
     • 🥇 Cornwall – 502 points (Overall House Champion)
     • 🥈 Hollis – 441 points
     • 🥉 Danson – 362 points
     • 🏅 Macdougall – 335 points

The event was a resounding success, blending fun, fitness, and friendly competition in a safe and supportive environment.

St. Andrew’s School extends sincere thanks to the Board of Governors, Senior Management Team, the Assistant to the Head of Sports (Secondary), the Sports Secretary (Upper Primary), the Head of Logistics, and all dedicated teachers and staff who contributed to making City Run 2025 a memorable and meaningful event.
